Consultation
Prior to beginning your procedure your Paramedical Tattoo Artist will discuss the history of your stretch mark, when it first appeared, any treatments you’ve previously tried, and your expected results from Inkless Stretch Mark Revision. This will inform an optimal treatment plan tailored to the client and allow the Paramedical Tattoo Artist to educate and set clear expectations of the treatment and results prior to the treatment.
Treatment
Your Paramedical Tattoo Artist will use a specialized tattoo machine, but instead of ink the machine will be filled with a specialized serum. The specialized tattoo machine will deposit this healing serum into the treatment area at a much more shallow level than traditional decorative tattoos. This process forces the body’s regenerative response to send collagen, elastin and melanocytes to the affected area thus creating better tone, texture, and color. The treatment typically doesn’t hurt nor require any topical numbing, but may be applied upon request.
Wrapping Up
After the treatment a soothing balm will be applied to aid in optimal healing. Your Paramedical Tattoo Artist will provide aftercare instructions, learn more about these in our “What can I expect for Scar Camouflage and Inkless Stretch Mark Revision aftercare?” article, and if necessary an aftercare bag with healing balm. Prior to leaving the studio schedule a follow up appointment to ensure the skin is healing properly and assess if any further treatments are needed to achieve your desired results.
