AFTER CARE
PLEASE READ THE AFTER CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR SPECIFIC PROCEDURE- RECOMMENDED BEFORE YOU BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT.
Scar Camouflage & Inkless
Stretch Mark Revision Aftercare:
-
Keep the area clean: Gently clean the treated area with mild soap and lukewarm water twice daily. Pat it dry with a clean towel, and avoid rubbing or scrubbing the tattooed skin.
-
Apply a thin layer of aftercare ointment: Use a recommended aftercare ointment provided by your technician or a pharmacy. Apply it to the treated area 2-3 times a day to keep the skin moisturized and promote healing.
-
Avoid submerging in water: For the first week after the treatment, avoid swimming, soaking in hot tubs, or taking long baths. This will prevent excessive moisture exposure and reduce the risk of infection.
-
Wear loose clothing: Opt for loose-fitting, breathable clothing during the healing process to avoid friction and irritation on the tattooed area.
-
Avoid direct sunlight: Protect the treated area from direct sunlight for at least two weeks. If you need to go outside, wear loose clothing or use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher.
-
Refrain from scratching or picking: As the tattoo heals, it may become itchy. Avoid scratching or picking at the scabs to prevent scarring or color loss.
-
Be mindful of your daily activities: Avoid activities that may cause excessive sweating or strain on the treated area during the first week of healing.
-
No saunas or steam rooms: Avoid saunas, steam rooms, or any activity that causes excessive heat and sweating until the tattoo has fully healed.
-
Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water to keep your body hydrated, which aids in the healing process.
-
Monitor for signs of infection: If you notice excessive redness, swelling, pus, or prolonged pain, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
-
Attend your follow-up appointment: Schedule a follow-up session with your technician as advised to assess the healing progress and discuss any concerns you may have.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Day 1: Your skin will start slowly releasing lymph fluid right after your procedure. This is a common healing process for our bodies! Wipe your lips with water and a cotton round a few times today to minimize scabbing. Before bed apply Aquaphor/ grape seed oil. The color will look the most vibrant today.
Sometimes light bruises may occur, even after the procedure is over. It is normal and will disappear after a few hours.
Day 2: The lips may still be swollen today. Make sure you keep them moisturized with Aquaphor/ grape seed oil (do not apply ice- this will cause bruising).
Day 3-7: Keep moisturizing with Aquaphor as needed! Some light flaking or peeling may occur- this is normal. Do not pick on any dry skin.
After a few weeks: you will notice the actual healed results from your session (you’ll notice a few color changed until then).
