What is Inkless Stretch Mark Revision?
ISR is a way to revise and camouflage stretch marks by using a customized healing serum instead of pigment. ISR is suitable for all ages (18+) and can be done anywhere on the body except the face. ISR is permanent as long as weight remains stable.
How it works?
The goal is to create better tone texture and color. To do this we tattoo a customized serum into the stretch mark to force the body’s regenerative response to send collagen, elastin and melanocytes to the affected area.
Does it Hurt?
I use a topical prescription numbing cream that sits on your skin before I begin and I use a secondary numbing throughout the procedure.
It takes about 4 weeks to heal before we can determine if additional sessions will be required.
The stretch marks must be healed meaning they are no longer red, purple, pink or reddish brown and are no more than 4.75mm wide. This treatment is ideal for both men and women who would like to improve the appearance of stretch marks and feel more confident.
You can expect to see 50%-70% improvement after one session but may take up to 5 to reach your goal. Most clients get 1-4 sessions.
The most exciting thing is you can be tan or not to get the treatment and you never have to worry about pigment not matching skin tone or fading over time.
What to avoid BEFORE a ISR Appointment?
No Ibuprofen (Advil) or any other blood thinning drugs 2 days prior to treatment and 1 day after. No sunbed or spray tan 2 week prior. No Accutane for 6 months prior to treatment. Avoid alcohol and caffeine. No fish oil 3-5 days prior. No exercise the morning of your appointment.
